RSOL of Virginia,
I am having such a bad day I’m so upset I can't think straight....my fiancé called me very distraught because he failed his polygraph.
He’s on probation for 5 years and he’s in his third year. He has to pay for and take a polygraph every 6 months.
He is very upset because he can't figure out how he failed. He failed a polygraph before because he has such a bad memory and gets really nervous during those things. His Probation Officer said one more failing and he will go back to jail........so I have no idea how this will turn out.
He will do a 2nd polygraph within 30 days, I just can't take it.

1st Follow-up to Posting #89 From: Missy Date: 06/15/2009
My fiancé did not go back to jail (trust me you would have been the first to know aside from his parents). But of course he still has to talk about it in group. As I mentioned, he has been moved back to his regular group instead of the aftercare that he was in. He is supposed to discuss & own up to his mistake but he wasn’t talking to anyone underage!!!!! So I am really scared as to how he will fair when he re-takes the polygraph - I am sure when they get to that question he is now going to be more nervous than ever!!!
So, I have an idea - I am going to try a hypnotherapist just to help his memory to figure out why he failed that one question. Also I thought of practicing the polygraph with him....you know asking him the tough questions so he can be mentally prepared. Just ideas because I am scared to death and it has affected my job performance (I just don't want to work and I know I am not putting forth all of my effort into my work).
